Welcome to the first BBDCC NEWS update for 2010/11.
For those who do not know, a new look committee has been elected for the coming season with Damien Minehan (Pres.), Steven O'Brien (VP), Sam Kelly (Sec.), and General Committee Members Alex White, Luke Barlow, Brad Goodwin, David Hulton & Matthew O'Brien (also Club Statistician). We are still working out who will fill the all important Treasurer role and will keep you posted on this. We would like to thank and acknowledge the hard work done by the outgoing committee members, especially Mark Sypkes and Steven Morgan who worked tirelessly to ensure the club prospered in season 2009/10.
In more exciting news, the committee is pleased to announce that Chris Hevey will be returning as Club Coach and Michael Knight has signed on as Assistant Coach and A Grade Captain. Roger Gates will be B & C Grade Co-ordinator and will focus on members of those grades by running net sessions, providing coaching and supporting Chris and Michael.
To assist the coaches we are attempting to ascertain the potential playing list. Therefore I would like all players to have a think and advise if:
- you will definitely play in season 2010/11; or
- you will be available from time to time; or
- you are unsure; or
- you are definitely not planning on playing and
- are you able to identify any possible recruits?
