Damien Minehan joined the Sharks way back in 1991, playing predominately in B-Grade but also making his A-Grade debut for the Sharks as a 16 year old in December 1991 against Snug, chalking up a win! Damien quickly showed his worth with both bat and ball making 142 runs and taking 13 wickets in B-Grade in that first year with the Bay. From that season on he has been a regular in the A grade team, taking on a variety of roles in the side. Since that early beginning Damien has amassed 200 plus A-Grade games, making over 4200 runs and snagging more than 180 wickets, showing his true worth as a valued all-rounder for the Sharks. Pants has also been a part of numerous finals campaigns, including the disappointment of two losing A grade grand finals. 2001/2002 saw Damien reach Life Member Status, a due reward for the hard work put in over the years, but it is safe to say that his only remaining ambition is to hang up the boots with an A grade premiership flag on the wall and the memory of sharing a Grand Final win with his mates
